Home Owner's Association Informatio

The Easthaven Estates Homeowners Association was formed in 1993 after the developer sold the remaining lots and there was no organized body to maintain the common areas of the subdivision and monitor the various covenants of the neighborhood. Prior to the formation of the Association, the developer retained the rights to monitor all construction, renovation and expansion activities in the neighborhood.

The developer deeded the lake jointly to those properties touching its boundary when he sold the remaining lots. The approval process for new home construction, construction and placement of outbuildings, fences, large antennas, architectural changes to homes and general responsibility of maintaining the integrity of the covenants was vested in the Homeowners Association by the developer.

The Easthaven Estates Homeowners Association fiscal year runs from July 1 thru June 30. Dues are $150 annually. Each year we depend on the payment of dues from homeowners such as you to maintain and improve the appearance of our neighborhood for the benefit of all who live here. Here are examples of where your money goes: utilities for lights and irrigation systems at entrances, landscaping and lawn care at entrances, office supplies for newsletter and invoice mailings, periodic maintenance of lighting and irrigation systems, painting of the fence along Trickham Bridge Road and costs associated with seasonal decorations for the entrances. Any remaining funds are used for special projects.
